It’s that time of the month again – Foodie Pen Pal day!
If you want to make new blog friends, you need to be in this program! And if you want to share your “smaller blog” with a lot of people, definitely join as well. I was one of the first participants and I’m still loving the program and ALL the friends I’ve made through it. Even if you don’t blog and just read – you can join too!
If you want to see my other packages, here’s September, October, November, December, January, February, March and April here.
In case you don’t know what Foodie Pen Pals is, here’s a quick overview:
The Foodie Pen Pals is a pretty simple concept. We all signed up to receive a pen pal and we were supposed to send them a hand-packed package of food, costing only $15. Homemade treats can also be sent! The purpose is to expose fellow bloggers (and readers!) to new foods and all share our love of food! If you want a little more detail, check out founder Lindsay’s post to read the details.
If you want to sign up for the November swap, just email Lindsay at theleangreenbean@gmail.com and include the following information:
-Your full name
-Your email address
-Your blog name/address
-Your twitter handle (if applicable)
She needs your email by June 4th as pairings will be emailed on June 5th!
This month I sent my package to Stephanie at munchimunch. Stephanie is super nice, so make sure to check out her blog if you want to see the sweet and snacky goodies I sent to her.
I received my package from Laura at Laura Lives Life.
This month’s package was quite different than all my previous packages. I got a HUGE box from Gourmet Gift Baskets and had no idea who it was from. Turns out, it was my foodie pen pal package!
Inside the package had:
-
A soy nut based trail mix, pretzels, almond cookies, banana chips and another trail mix
Thanks to Laura for the package this month!
And don’t forget to visit Lindsay’s post for this month to see everyone’s link there.
