Baby steps here at my big ole blogging comeback…

In all honesty, I have a lot of blog work to do. I need to do some big content updates and I’ve been having server issues, but I promise I have not forgotten all of you!

To prove it, want to see the groceries I bought today and some meals I’ve made taken pictures of recently?

  • Cheerios, Quinoa (both frozen and in shelf stable package), refried beans, green chilies, enchilada sauce, black beans, whole wheat english muffins, salsa, taco sauce, Mrs. Dash salt free taco seasoning, crispy bell peppers

  • Romaine, frozen onions, frozen bell peppers, spinach, bananas, strawberries, plum sweets, mushrooms, avocado, fresh made pico, carrots

  • Plain greek yogurt, chobani flips, 93% lean beef, low fat flavored milks (for after lifting workouts), greek yogurt, orange roughy fish

  • Whole wheat pasta with onions, bell peppers, spinach, turkey pepperoni // Chicken lasagna cups with broccoli

Matt and I went to curling lessons a few week ago and signed up for a 4 week beginner lesson series in March! That game is harrrd.

Also, as of this weekend I officially hit the 60# loss mark. What a relief for me and motivation to keep going to get the last 25# off!

What have you been buying and eating lately? My eating habits have definitely changed quite a bit since the last time I was regularly doing these grocery posts.

I’m lifting three days a week, then doing cardio and trying to build the running back up now that the weather is warming up!

Yay for a comeback!

It sounds like you’ve been doing great and curling – go you! I have been watching it as it’s one of the only the things the GB is good at in the Winter Olympics. I wish they played it near me as I think it looks fun to have a go.

I’m trying to eat more whole foods and really cut back on the processed stuff. I have to say having more time by not commuting is a big bonus, but I still need to get organised :)

I saw your pictures on Instagram from your curling lesson and it looked like you guys loved it! So glad you are going to be taking more lessons, it sounds like so much fun.

Yay for hitting the 60 lb mark!!! I’m starting over from almost the beginning… (it’s been a rough year).

I’m so jealous you’re taking curling lessons! I’ve never been able to find them around me (my hus-boyfriend is super obsessed (to the point he DVRs it).
